Abstract :
The authors demonstrate that it is possible to enhance current radiated emission measurement techniques such that measurements taken at any test house can be used to estimate the measurements that would be obtained on an OATS. The direct comparison of measurements from a number of test houses having different sized screened rooms is thus feasible. If the source of the emissions is from common mode currents the accuracy of the predictions is reduced although this may not reduce the repeatability of the results in different test chambers. Where cables are not driven but are an extension of the equipment under test, the presence and layout of the cables has little effect unless they are laid directly over the radiating element
