Abstract :
In order to control the section cutting of roadheader automatically, we establish the functional relationship of deflexion angle of cantilever, extension of hydraulic cylinder and position of cutting head. Before controlling roadheader to cut, the range of cutting section is set through the space coordinates, and the reference position of the cutting head should be established. Then we control the cutting head to cut the section by deflexion angle of cantilever and extension of hydraulic cylinder. The microcontroller calculates the space position of the cutting head by the parameters of deflexion angle of cantilever and extension of hydraulic cylinder, then, we adjust the control parameters for completing the automatic control of roadway cross-section cutting.
