Abstract
A novel space-time coding scheme called cyclic space-time block coding (C-STBC) in MIMO CDMA system is presented. In the C-STBC scheme, the input symbols are split in blocks, each block has M symbols (M is the number of transmitting antennas), the M symbols are circularly encoded into M groups (each group has M cyclic symbols), the encoded M times M symbols are transmitted in M symbol durations through M antennas by multiplying M spread-codes respectively. A blind decoding algorithm for the C-STBC is also presented. Simulation results show that the proposed C-STBC is superior to the conventional STBC in MMO CDMA system
