Student information access system via Bluetooth

This paper discusses the proposed mobile solution for the access of student and faculty information via a Bluetooth network at the faculty of Information Technology, University of Moratuwa. The paper highlights the inconveniences the students currently face and the shortcomings of the existing and proposed external systems that cater for some of the issues highlighted in the paper. The paper summarizes the design approach taken in developing this system with a summary on the major components of the system. A quick insight to some aspects of implementation is discussed and the later part of the paper has been dedicated to discuss the further improvements that are currently considered for the system.
