Abstract :
Optimal manipulation method is a subject, which researches how to minimize the fuel consumption of the diesel locomotive only by changing the driver´s operation under the current environmental condition of train operation. the influences of different operation methods on distance, time and fuel consumption are discussed in this paper by using DF7G diesel locomotive as an example. The distance, time and fuel consumption of train operation process was simulated, and an evaluation system of diesel locomotive manipulation optimization was built. finally, optimized operation methods for different operating conditions are proposed in this paper.
