Abstract
This paper inquires preliminarily into the confidence degree of selection of mechanical parameters of rock masses and its reliability test. In the paper, according to the random fuzzy probability theory, the random fuzzy probability distribution of mechanical parameters is discussed, and the concept of "confidence threshold" and the model of confidence degree are put forward. Furthermore, based on this concept, the question of the confidence degree of mechanical parameters is analyzed theoretically, and the method of reliability test is suggested. Studies indicate that the method of this paper is more reasonable and more coincident with the project practice.
