Abstract
This paper designs and implements a development framework that fits the development of educational management information system (EMIS), and provides an interface-generated user interface management system (UIMS) components and flexible permissions management modules. Considering the complex technological process of business in EMIS, we implements workflow components and rule engine modules in the development framework to support the requirements. The controller-layered encapsulation in the development framework separates the interface design from the business development phase, and reduces development difficulty of educational management information system. Based upon the development framework proposed in this paper, several typical modules in the post-graduate EMIS as enrollment, cultivation, degree and graduation management are designed and implemented. Developers can efficiently create a new educational management information system, on the proposed development framework and business modules.
