  • Abstract
With the development of virtual studio technology, the application in the field of education has been emerging in China, especially for high-quality educational resource authoring. However traditional virtual studio systems have not been widely deployed. The reason is not only the large investment but also the complexity of the operation and maintenance of the system. Thus new virtual studio system meeting the actual needs for education applications should be developed. In this paper a novel low-cost virtual studio system with convenient operating interfaces is presented. The system provides convenient and integrated functions and interfaces for high quality education resource authoring, while only one system operator is required. With the help of this system, dramatic and vivid presentation of the education resource can be generated, bringing the improvement of the efficiency and quality of education activity.
