Abstract
We have successfully developed a series of laser module for small form 10 Gb/s transceivers and transponders using unique 19 pin small package, of which the volume is 1.5 c.c. The driver IC is integrated in it. Uncooled FP laser module can be used up to 1.2 km, uncooled DFB modules up to 12 km, and EA-DFB modules for 40 km. All of the module can operate up to a case temperature up to 75 deg. C.
