  • Abstract
TePRA is an exciting and unique conference aimed at catalyzing the development of enabling technologies and encouraging their adoption by robot designers. Different than other robotics conferences, TePRA is a combination of an academic conference and a trade show. More so than academic conferences, TePRA emphasizes practical applications and industrial participation. More so than trade shows, TePRA has a serious review process and is targeted at future applications. TePRA exposes robot designers to new enabling tools, techniques and technologies and exposes tool, technique and technology developers to the needs of robot designers. TePRA provides you with the opportunity to share new tools, techniques and technologies that could be of use in the robotics field and new practical applications of robots that could benefit from a technical or technology breakthrough. The conference??s Technical Program covers a broad range of robot applications and technologies, including medical and rehabilitation robotics, military and security robotics, consumer robotics, computation, navigation, sensing and more. In addition, the conference features Technology Exhibits about robotics and related components and technologies and Demonstrations of robotics technology.
