Decision support systems in multicriteria groups: An approach based on fuzzy rules

Problems with multicriteria characteristics that involve group decision making usually require the treatment of conflicts within each group. This paper presents a method capable of treating this class of problems by using a fuzzy rules base with multicriteria characteristics. In this method, different influence degrees for each decision maker and various importance degrees assigned by them to each variable analyzed are considered. The inference is made through an automatically generated rules base.
