Abstract
The performance of a RAKE receiver for spread spectrum communications on multi-path fading channels depends on the number and type of multi-path components present at the output of channel. The focus in this paper is on BER analysis of RAKE receiver in a code division multiple access (CDMA) that employs direct sequence (DS) spread spectrum in Rayleigh fading channels. Simulation experiments for performance of RAKE receiver are given to verify the derived expression and theoretical value
