Abstract :
This paper presents a recent development in a loop-line antenna, where the loop elements are newly located on both sides of the microstrip line in order to enhance the gain. The antenna is designed on the basis of the radiation characteristics of a reference loop-line antenna whose loops are on one side of the microstrip line. The radiation characteristics are evaluated using the numerically determined current distribution, and compared to those of the reference antenna.
