Finite Element Analysis of Bend Roller of the Belt-Convey Based on ABAQUS

Abstract :
For deficiencies appeared in the process of bend roller design, force analysis and finite element analysis of bend roller in belt-conveyor were carried on in this study. First, the distributions of force which imposed on roller by conveyor belt were researched. Secondly, the finite element analysis of roller was studied, and then the distributions of strain and stress of various components in roller were obtained which provide a theoretical foundation for design of roller.
