Low cost antennas for mobile communications

This paper gives examples of two low cost antenna solutions in the field of mobile communications. The first example presents a diversity antenna solution for a CT2 wireless PABX basestation along with some simple measures used to minimise the cost of the antenna The second example presents an antenna solution for a fixed wireless terminal, where the installed performance of the antenna on the terminal is utilised to minimise both the cost and the size of the antenna
