Abstract :
The present paper describes a numerical model, which allows to compute solute transport and biodegradation in a saturated porous media. Mathematical formulation of such processes leads to a set of non- linear partial differential equations coupled to ordinary differential equations. The transport equation is approximated by a finite volume scheme whereas biodegradation equations are treated separately as a system of ordinary differential equations. Numerical results for bio restoration using Monod kinetics are presented.
