Abstract
Power cable accessories are key items in transmission systems and are indivisible in importance from the cable itself. They are assembled onsite in all types of weather and environmental conditions. To ensure reliable performance over the lifetime of the cable system, basic design concepts must be correct, manufacturing quality must be high, environmental conditions during installation must be controlled and jointers must be both trained and skilled
