  • Abstract
    It is well known that the performance of any photovoltaic (PV) device is a function of the spectral response of the device and the spectral content of the optical radiation. In a PV device testing environment, the spectral characteristics of the radiation must be taken into account. The purpose of this work is to describe some instrumentation being developed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to quantify spectral characteristics for both outdoor and indoor test environments for solar cells
