Abstract :
The difficulty of energy recharging and the short lifetime in wireless sensor network is always a question. This paper presents an advanced algorithm that combined the optimal number of cluster-head with energy adaptive cluster-head selection algorithm, which is based on the classical LEACH protocol. The simulation results proved that the improved LEACH protocol could farther prolong the lifetime of whole network
