Abstract
Mirroring system separates the reading from storing of CD information, enabling user to share CD resource with high speed. To satisfy the increasing requirement of security and sharing, we design an iSCSI-based secure network mirroring system (short for iSNMS). Aiming at the emerging security threats, we introduce an adaptation to CHAP in iSNMS. The qualitative analysis and quantitative result indicate that iSNMS can achieve higher security and support more concurrent requests respectively.
