  • Abstract
The game development process is a complex activity that requires a team composed by members with different backgrounds. There is a consensus regarding the importance of multidisciplinary teams in the game development community. However, the effective communication and coordination of work involving multidisciplinary teams is a challenge. This paper presents the results of a qualitative research conducted in a game developing company to investigate the main characteristics and difficulties involved in the communication process of multidisciplinary teams.
