Abstract :
A new method to quantify the cardiac wall motion abnormalities using 2D B scan is proposed. This method makes use of an image processing algorithm for measuring the displacement along the the plots of patients with ischemia/infarction are drawn. A new parameter of wall motion abnormality is defined. A comparison of displacement plots of patients obtained during first and followup studies is carried out
