Abstract
This paper proposes new design concepts involving the PIFA structure with a folded feeding structure which is implemented between the feed pin and radiators. These structures consist of the U shaped folded feeding technique and parasitic components with enhancing the multiple impedance bandwidth of original PIFA structure. Using this proposed novel feeding structure, a hepta-band built-in PIFA antenna for covering the GSM850, GSM900, DCS, PCS, WCDMA, WIMAX2350, and Bluetooth are eventually implemented.
