Abstract
Based on virtual private network technology, a method of IP mobile position management is presented. Each mobile agent (MA) is set up corresponding to a respective autonomy network on the Internet. Once MA is connected to the local ISP, a VPN that is used to manage the binding information of mobile nodal position is formed, which manages the position of mobile nodes. The memory structure of the binding information table and the algorithm used to manage the binding information of mobile position is designed. The simulative test shows that the design can solve the problem of triangular route, obtain an optimized route, and greatly increase the speed of receiving data compared with the standard mobile IP
