Abstract
This paper presents a very simple iterative Riccati-based method for static output-feedback stabilization problems. The proposed algorithm which only involves resolution of Riccati equations is compared with LMI-based approaches. Such a simple algorithm is very useful to initialize more sophisticated (but also more time-consuming) procedures at a low cost.
