Abstract
A compact representation of UWB antennas is given by the poles/residues modeling, both in frequency and time domain. This simple procedure is achieved by measuring a UWB link (using two identical antennas). However the measure has to be done adequately to obtain a good accuracy. In particular the SNR has to be greater than 30 dB over the whole band. It implies to use several techniques to improve the SNR as time gating. More parameters have to be considered. They will be presented during the conference with more explanation about the measurement setup and more experimental results.
