  • Abstract
    Different from traditional fault tolerant systems (e.g. the voting system), genetic algorithms are applied to the actual hardware systems, which ensures that the units found to be faulty could be improved and eventually reach full functionality through evolution. We design and implement a genetic algorithm by C++ language in the evolutionary voting system. Experimental results shows a genetic algorithm to be an effective strategy in some areas of engineering optimization
