Abstract
Proposes an iterative scheme for mixed H2/H∞ control design using an identified model. The purpose of the mixed H2/H∞ is to combine the traditional H 2 quadratic performance criterion for disturbance rejection with the H∞ performance criterion for the maximum robustness against destabilizing uncertainties. In the iterative scheme, once the model is identified for the known controller, the controller is designed for the identified model. The paper demonstrates this scheme for the active suspension design in which the traditional performance criterion should be extended with H∞ criterion due to significant uncertainties
