Abstract :
A compact UHF-band band-pass filter with high stop-band characteristics realized by multilayer low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) technology is proposed. Classical filter design methods and theoretical analysis are presented. The filter with a central frequency of 490 MHz and a 100MHz pass-band is designed as a three-dimensional (3-D) structure based on semi-lumped elements and semi-distributed elements. The overall size is just 6.4mm×4.0mm×1.5mm. Both simulation and measurement results are presented for comparison.
