Abstract
Recently developed compensation technique has been used for developing a broadband high-performance magic-T network. Excellent amplitude and phase characteristics have been obtained. The network has been tested in a direction finding system for which two modified monopole antennas having directional radiation patterns have been developed. The obtained radiation patterns measured at the Sigma and Delta outputs of the direction finding system allow for accurate direction of arrival measurement.
