Abstract
In this paper, the frequency dependant series impedance on lossy substrates is calculated from a quasi-static magnetic Green´s function in the spatial domain by limiting the computational domain to a finite size box and superimposing the solutions of two sets of boundary conditions, namely, perfect electric conducting (PEC) and perfect magnetic conducting (PMC) walls. The resulting solution actually models an open problem (no walls) with or without a ground plane.
