Abstract
A wide-band, dual-polarized antenna was designed. The calculation utilizes a small cubic pixel size and long simulation time in order to achieve accuracy in simulations for dual-resonant circuits. The design was measured with no tuning of dimensions after building. The measured bandwidth is 9% narrower than simulated. Also the effect of the feed capacitor volume on the polarization purity was checked.
