Abstract :
A 24-port cube suitable for MIMO wireless communications is proposed and demonstrated in this paper. The cube is constructed from inexpensive single-side FR-4 PCBs, and it can provide a significant gain in channel capacity over a SISO system. As both spatial and polarization diversities are involved in the cube design, the mutual couplings among the 24 ports are relatively low, leading to good uncorrelated signals at the receiver.
