  • Abstract
This paper will discuss the simulation of dispersive chiral frequency selective surfaces (FSS) through the use of a periodic finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) and a periodic finite-element boundary-integral (FEBI) method. The periodic numerical methods will be used to model a dispersive chiral polarizer with a FSS embedded within. This device will be designed to convert a linearly polarized wave of arbitrary polarization into a circularly polarized wave over a finite bandwidth. The two numerical methods will be compared and contrasted in reference to the design of the chiral polarizer.
