Abstract :
Describes a novel planar antenna-sensor devoted to the non-invasive temperature measurement by microwave radiometry. In order to improve radiometric measurement in industrial applications, we propose a new generation of sensors realized from a metallic sheet without substrate. Simulation based upon the method of moments is used to model the performances of these sensors. This paper also describes a radiometric device designed to measure and control the temperature of food products during deep freezing process. First results are presented.
