Abstract :
A compact twin-horns antenna is investigated. The antenna contains two pyramidal type horns and an S-shaped waveguide splitter, having one coaxial input. It is shown that the gain of the proposed antenna is higher than the gain of a single pyramidal horn having the same volume as that of the proposed antenna, by about 2 dB. It has been shown also that the sidelobe level of the twin-horns antenna is about the same as that of the single horn. The agreement between simulations and measurements was very good.
