This paper applies similarity theorem in the design of truss structure of the crawler crane. Through deduction of stability and similarity index of existing jib products, some important parameters of other jib products with same category different type are got according to existing products´ structure parameters, and then these parameters are inspected with examples, which conclude that similarity theorem will instruct the design of series products.
