Abstract :
We developed the prototype of the fiber-optic accelerometer using the Michelson interferometer and tried to observe earthquakes on the sea floor. This paper shows the configuration of the fiber-optic accelerometer the earthquake observation results using the prototype sensor. And we introduce the remote optical amplifier using Raman amplifier or EDFA for a large scale seismic sensing array.
