Abstract :
This paper focuses on the safety protection problem of aero-engines and proposes a guaranteed cost technique based limit protection control method. Firstly, the aero-engines protection control problem is summarized from the point view of working mechanism. Then, the switching limit protection control thought is introduced. And by using guaranteed cost approach, a systematic limit protection control strategy including controller design and switching logic design is developed. Moreover, as an instance, the aero-engine over-temperature protection control is considered and numerical simulations are provided to show the effectiveness and applicability of the design.
