Abstract :
To cope with the current trend to conserve resources while compressing development cycles and increasing workloads, SEMATECH´s Technology Transfer group has undertaken a project to “reengineer” its engineer-authors. The objective of this project is to create a paradigm shift in the way that engineer-authors perceive their role in the technology transfer process. This paper discusses the development of The Authors´ Toolkit, a compilation of resources; four courses that were designed to complement and extend the information in the toolkit; and experience with and tips for working with training departments and outside instructors
