  • Abstract
    The theory of collaboration is used for supply chain management to constitute the collaborative transportation management (CTM), it can meet the requirements of lean transportation. Each transportation entity participating in collaborative transportation shall constitute the self organization and operation mechanism of competition-cooperation-coordination. Collaborative transportation system centers on core enterprise, captures market opportunity, finds out cooperation enterprise, and works out collaborative plan. The detailed analysis is carried out for the collaborative transportation system organization form, organization procedure and execution procedure, and the distribution for transportation task and vehicle dispatch via mathematical model, and the shortest routine transportation optimized via the utilization of GIS technology, finally further points out the issue on how to develop CTM in China.
