Abstract :
This paper proposes a new geometric distortion correcting algorithm for wavelet-based watermarked image. The watermark is embedded into the low frequency sub-bands of the host image, which guarantees large embedding capacity and good invisibility. The modified Harris-Laplace detector is utilized to extract steady feature points used for image correcting. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is not only invisible but also robust against many image geometric attacks such as rotation, translation and scaling, etc.
