Abstract :
This paper has compared temporal focusing with information theoretic criteria for covert wireless communications. This paper derives two information theoretic transmission strategies and compares the resulting performance to focusing. This work mainly considers temporal focusing by interpreting subchannels as frequency bins. However, spatial focusing is easily accommodated by taking the SVD of the spatial subchannels and stacking singular values for different frequency bins and spatial indices together.
