Comparison of optimizations of lookup table based digital predistortion methods

This paper compares the adaptive lookup table based digital predistortion in its basic form with two proposed variations of multidimensional lookup tables and FIR filter table index calculation to compensate for memory effect. The basic model and its variations are tested with different power amplifier (PA) models, which focus on different error models for the non-linearity exhibited by power amplifiers. The advantages and disadvantages of the individual solutions are reviewed.
