Abstract :
In this paper, for active beam steering to a horizontal direction with maintaining omnidirectional horizontal polarization, Pin diode is attached on a printed inverted F antenna for beam-steering and its electrical condition is changed to short or open. Finally, the proposed printed inverted F antenna for beam-steering in this paper is possible to control a beam direction by a switch and also appropriate for a small radio intelligence with maintaining a characteristic of horizontal polarization.
