Abstract :
A cylindrical ice sample is designed as a model to study experimentally discharge path and the flashover performance on ice surface in the artificial climate chamber. The experiments and analysis show that the electrode shape and the freezing-water conductivity have effects on the discharge path of the ice model. The freezing-water conductivity and the air pressure are the two of important factors that influence the flashover voltage on ice surface of the model, and the corrections of flashover voltage on ice surfaces are put forward.
