Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of model reduction based on balanced truncation method for continuous-time linear switched systems with time-varying delay. For a given stable system, our attention is focused on the construction of reduced-order model, which not only approximates the original system well but also is translated into a linear lower-dimensional system. Specifically in the paper, we use the generalized dissipation inequalities that is in conjunction with a suitably defined storage function in [7] to obtain the reduced order models. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to state the feasibility of the obtained results.
