  • Abstract
    In this paper, a design methodology combining methods in so-called nonlinear differential geometric control with adaptive control is proposed. Nonlinear systems with parametric uncertainties are treated and a Lyapunov-based adaptive scheme is developed to deal with these uncertainties. As an application, the problem of temperature tracking in a batch reactor modeled by nonlinear equations with uncertain parameters is presented
