Abstract
Complex security systems, like e-voting systems, suffer from scalability issues when the number of users is important especially in the presence of failures. In this paper, we present an architecture-based approach to build a scalable and secure e-voting system. Indeed, the system component-based architecture allows for the system scalability even in the presence of failures or security attacks.
