  • Abstract
    Vibration is a basic phenomenon of AC motor. The vibration characteristics will change when a fault occurs to motor. Experiment Modal Analysis and Finite Element Modal Analysis are both effective methods for motor vibration analysis. This paper introduces these two methods, and proposes a new conjoint method of motor fault diagnosis based on vibration situation of motor. Through establishing motor vibration situation library and comparing practical vibration situation with it, the corresponding type of motor faults can be estimated.
